SKIN MOTHER WOMAN

Skin Mother Women is a mix of personal, free work and commissioned pieces. At its core, it is an ongoing exploration of what it means to be a woman.

Through this series, I reflect on the layered experience of womanhood. Including the impact of becoming and being a mother, as well as the uncertainties that come with it. These questions are not only my own, they are mirrored in the women I portray.

This body of work is a reflection of my inner inquiry: What stories live beneath my skin? In what ways has motherhood, seen or unseen, shaped the woman I am becoming? And how do love, longing, and expectation move through the landscape of my womanhood?
